Alabama Music Hall of Fame
The Alabama Music Hall of Fame celebrates the extraordinary musical legacy of Alabama-born artists — from Hank Williams and Nat King Cole to Lionel Richie and the band Alabama. Located about 5 miles southwest of Florence in Tuscumbia, the Hall of Fame features interactive exhibits, memorabilia, and inductee galleries spanning every genre. The main parking lot off US-72 is large enough to accommodate full-size motorcoaches with no advance arrangement required.

Ivy Green — Helen Keller Birthplace
Ivy Green (300 W North Commons, Tuscumbia, AL 35674) is the birthplace and childhood home of Helen Keller, a National Historic Landmark open for guided tours year-round. The grounds include the original family home, the famous water pump where Anne Sullivan helped Keller connect language to the world, and a gift shop. The annual outdoor production of "The Miracle Worker" runs from early June through mid-July on the grounds.
Bus drop-off is at the main gate on W North Commons, with parking in the adjacent lot. Advance group reservations are strongly recommended — contact Ivy Green before your visit.
University of North Alabama Campus
The University of North Alabama (1 Harrison Plaza, Florence, AL 35632) anchors Florence's identity as a college town, with more than 10,000 students and a historic campus that dates to 1830. The campus is home to Bobby Wallace Field at Bank Independent Stadium, part of the Bill Jones Athletic Complex, for Lions football, as well as Flowers Hall, the Guillot University Center, and other landmarks worth visiting. Charter bus drop-off for campus events is coordinated through UNA's game-day staff near the athletic complex.
UNA homecoming in October and spring commencement in May are the two busiest transportation weekends on campus — book well in advance for either date.
